ABOUT JOHN

John D. Wood, P.E. has more than 18 years of hands on experience in civil engineering, and founded Presidio Engineering in 1995, serving as its President and Principal Engineer. He has a recognized expertise in a number of areas of civil engineering, and works on a wide variety of project types.

His principal area of interest is in land development, planning, drainage, platting and engineering. Because his background is diverse, John is able to lead the design effort for all types of platting and improvement plan preparation including grading, drainage, paving, sewer and water.

Within southern Arizona, he has worked extensively in the City of Tucson, Town of Marana, Pima County, the Town of Oro Valley, Santa Cruz County and Pinal County and is very familiar with their processes. He also has experience in working with Federal, State, County and other City agencies.
